Description
A male commons room in the 1980s with a group of young men watching television. In the foreground of the photograph, a college boy wears a tank top and sweatpants and is sitting on the floor next to a pair of high-top athletic shoes. He has long curly hair and is resting his leg on a basketball. In front of the man in the tank top is a man wearing a jacket with “Canton Galva” printed on the back. The college-aged men have arranged the chairs in the room to all face the small square television in the corner installed on a shelf high on the wall. The men recline in their chairs and do not look at the camera. The carpet has a speckled pattern in the room with the men. Where the picture is taken from, the floor is 6-inch square ceramic tile against a cinderblock wall. The photograph is taken in black and white.
