Description
This black and white photograph features a men's commons room in the 1980s with men watching television. In the foreground, a man is wearing a tank top and sweatpants and sitting on the floor next to a pair of high-top athletic shoes. He has long, curly hair and rests his leg on a basketball. In front of the man in the tank top is a man wearing a jacket with “Canton Galva” printed on the back. The college-aged men have arranged the chairs in the room so that they all face the square television in the corner installed on a shelf high on the wall. The men recline in their chairs. The carpet has a speckled pattern in the room with the men. Where the picture is taken from, the floor is 6-inch square ceramic tile against a cinderblock wall.
