Description
This black and white photograph features students playing inside the Picken Fountain. Six students play in the water in the Fort Hays State fountain. All of the college students are standing inside the fountain, splashing water. A man on the left is throwing water at the woman in front of him. There is one young woman. Five men are playing in the picture. Everyone is wearing shorts. In the background of the photo, there are two cars. The photo shows the campus bookstore in the back. A sign painted on the brick wall of the bookstore reads: “Campus Book Store, “New & Used Books,” “Everything Used in College,” “Art Supplies,” and “Sporting Goods.” The bookstore building has three windows and a door on the left side of the photo. “Photo by ‘Ed Kuhn’” is written towards the bottom.
