Description

In the black-and-white photograph, a college man leans against the spare tire in the back of an International Scout vehicle with an object covering the lower half of his face. The student’s face is visible from the eyes up. The back window is propped up. The vehicle has a slight dent below the left taillight, and there is an “International” emblem in the upper right-hand corner of the tailgate. The license plate is covered. There are two metal trash barrels in the background on the right side of the photo. The vehicle is moving and kicking up gravel and rocks on the sand road. An early 1970s Ford Maverick or Chevrolet Vega is parked across the street and visible through the windshield of the International Scout. In the photo, the road is lined with trees.
