Description
A black and white photograph of five men competing in estimated 1920s pie eating contest. The men are lined up face down on the wooden floor side by side. All five men wear white long-sleeved button-down shirts. The middle three men have their sleeves rolled to their elbows. The man farthest left is on his hands and knees, with his face down in the plate of pie. The man second from the left lies on his stomach with his ankles crossed and his arms around his plate. The man in the middle is on his hands and knees with a black fedora atop his head. The man second to the right is in the same position with his fedora on the ground next to him. The man farthest right is also on his hands and knees and halfway out of frame. A trombone case sits along the side wall.
