Description
A black and white photograph. Four adolescents sit in the back row of a concert band at band camp, estimated to be in the 1980s. The boy closest to the camera is playing a tuba. The tuba is supported by a metal folding chair with padding, and the boy is sitting on a wedge on a second chair. He reads sheet music off of a metal music stand. He wears a sleeveless knit top, a watch, and basketball shorts with stripes up the sides. He wears white tube socks with three stripes at the top and light-colored sneakers. Two bassoon players, a boy and a girl, play next to each other. Both have glasses, and hers are large, plastic glasses. The male is wearing a long sleeved shirt with a jewel neckline and jeans. The female is wearing a v-neck t-shirt and shorts. A boy with a mullet is playing a baritone saxophone. Tuba cases and spare chairs line the wall in the background.
