Description
This black and white photograph features a table at the base of the winding staircase in the Memorial Union. A woman with short blonde hair and wearing a nametag is serving punch at one end of the table while talking to a woman with a top-bun hairdo waiting to receive a glass of punch across the table. The woman receiving the punch is holding two paper pamphlets in her hands. Next to her, another woman with large plastic eyeglasses is bent, reaching to grab a napkin from the table. Another woman stands bent over, filling cups with punch at the other end of the table. A four-tier cake decorated with flowers is located near the center of the table. The cake still needs to be cut. A crowd of men and women are visiting in the background. Two people are descending the curved Union stairs.
