This black and white photograph features the 1952 Male Quartet Performing at the 50th Anniversary of Fort Hays State University. Four men are singing to a crowd. The man to the left is wearing a pinstriped cotton suit and glasses. He is holding sheet music in his left hand. The man to the right is wearing a linen, striped suit with a pinstriped necktie, glasses, and a name tag over his breast pocket. The two men in the middle are wearing black cotton suits with patterned ties. They help the man to the right hold the sheet music. The man, second farthest to the right, is also wearing glasses. In front of the men is a condenser microphone and an arrangement of carnations and daisy flowers. The background depicts a room with other patrons watching the men. “Male quartettes of popular and standard songs” is written on the front cover of the sheet music.
