Description
This black and white photograph contains an old wooden buggy with words printed on the side after a game with Side Western when the school Fort Hays State University was named Western State Normal School. The old buggy sits near a street and has “Gone But Not Forgotten” painted crudely on the side with the last two words underlined. The front of the wagon is wide open, with a small opening on each side. On the left side of the background, behind the buggy and across the street, is a two-story white house with a porch. On the opposite side of the buggy is a one-story house with a porch. The carriage has two large spoked wheels in the back and two smaller ones in front. A lantern with ornamental wooden carvings is affixed to the side.
