Description
This black-and-white photograph contains an old wooden buggy with words printed on the side after a game with Sidewestern when the school Fort Hays State University was named Western State Normal School. The old buggy sits near a street and has, “Gone But not Forgotten” painted crudely on the side with the last two words underlined. The front of the wagon is wide open with a small opening on each side. On the left side of the the background behind the buggy and across the street is a two-story white house with a porch. On the opposite side of the buggy is a one-story house with a porch. The carriage has two large spoked wheels in back and two smaller spoked wheels in front. A lantern is afixed on the side, where there is ornamental wooden carving.
