Description
This black and white photographic postcard depicts a stone quarry in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas. A hole in the ground reveals layers of limestone. Men line the back of the quarry and are standing on either side of the hole. A pulley system lifts a cut limestone block up to a cut rock pile on the right. A horse and wagon are in the background. Piles of cut rock are on the right side in the background. Rejected rocks are in the foreground. Printed text is on the bottom of the card.
