Description
This black and white photographic postcard depicts an oil pumping site. A large well has several spouts pouring oil into the tank. Oil is flowing over the edge of the tank onto the ground. Two men are standing in the background. An oil derrick is in the background in the upper right corner of the card. Written text is in the center and bottom of the card. Handwriting is on the back of the card.

Dear Friends: This is one of the latest wells brought in 8 miles east of us. Pretty good, I think. The wells look awfull(sic) thick there to me. It has been raining nearly every day for a week here.
