Description
This black and white photographic postcard features men stacking alfalfa in a field. Two men use an implement to lift the alfalfa to the top of the stack. One man stands at the top of the stack. Horses are tied to the implements to assist with the bundling and stacking the alfalfa. Written text is at the bottom of the text. Handwriting is on the back of the card.

Stacking Alfalfa W.H. Burn's Field, Little River, KS. Little River Kans. July 12, 1912 Dear cousin Win, Papa went to Oklahoma yesterday. He is going to run an elevator down there. Mamma and I will probably go there and stay a while this summer. I expect papa will be back in the fall. Lovingly, Helen.
