OFFICE OF MOUNT HOPE NURSERIES - ESTABLISHED 1869 - LAWRENCE, KANSAS - We acknowledge, with thanks, your valued order amounting to $3.00 which was recently placed with our representative for delivery the coming Spring. TERMS --- CASH ON DELVIERY, Positively no COUNTERMANDS or CONDITIONAL Orders accepted. In keeping with the contract we are making a reservation of the stock and will endeavor to give the filling of your order such careful attention as will merit a continuance of your patronage. Yours respectfully, MOUNT HOPE NURSERIES. Feb 4, 1913 THE SPING PLANTING SEASON is not regulated by dates but by the CONDITION OF THE STOCK WHEN RECEIVED. It it is better a little late than TOO EARLY since it will make a quicker and better start if the ground has become thoroughly warmed before planting. If the trees are REASONABLY DORMANT that is all that is necessary, nor does it make any difference how far advanced vegetation may be in general at the time and place of transplanting. Mrs. David Weeks, Belvue, Kans.
