Description
This black and white photographic postcard features a shop in Pittsburg, Kansas. Display cases full of wares are on the left and right side of the store. Shelves behind the display cases hold more items. Two men in suits stand behind the display cases on the left. Two men in suits stand on the right side next to display cases. Spitoons are at the two men's feet. One counter is in the background in the center of the walkway. Red printed ink is at the bottom of the card. Black printed ink is on a white strip on the right side of the card. Handwriting is on the back of the card.

Owl Drug Store, Henry Kettler, Manager. Here your smallest needs receive prompt and accurate attention. Try us. 316 North Broadway, Pittsburg, Kans. Aug 9, 1910 Dear Mother & all will drop you a card this morning, are'nt we having some awful rains. Agnes Lodhey & I stayed here last night by our-selves, I have been staying up there at Wilburts. I heard from John Saturday & the poor boy was only in Yates Center Kans, I am looking for a letter from him to-day. Oh! It is awful lonesome over here, I am coming out just as soon as I hear from John. From Minnie. Mrs Chas McClure, Pittsburg, Kans. R.R. #2.
