4th Congressional District Old Soldiers' Re-Union, Council Grove, Kansas, September 5-6-7-8. Oct. 30, 1907 Dear Friend we got home all right and all of the peopple [sic] seem to be glad to see us and Mr B had the house all painted up nice just as I had I sed(sic) I like to have it. I have ben(sic) so very busy cleaning house I had to stop as it has rained for to(sic) days. O well what a nice time we had while we was in the East every bod(sic) so nice to us. but one you knew but we did have a next with the one our last visit was not very plesant(sic).
