Events in the Life of W. B. (Bill) Rhodes Cattle Salesman for Medcalf & Co. K. C. in 1883. Sent to Dodge City in 1885 to take charge of the W cattle ranch. Sold out and was appointed custodian of the Indian Reservation by President Cleveland in 1887. Reservation turned over to State in 1888 for the Soldiers' Home. Was then appointed Marshal of Dodge City. On the force 20 yrs. in business 25 yrs. Custodian of the Famous Boot Hill Dodge City, Kans. since 1936. 92 years old April 22 1944
