This black and white photographic postcard features a rock formation rising out of the land. The It is surrounded by limestone rocks and other rock landscapes. Prairie grass is in the foreground. A town can be seen in the background. Several people are standing at the top of this hill. Printed text is at the bottom of the card and the back of the card. Handwriting is also on the back of the card.

Pawnee Rock, Kansas Historic Pawnee Rock, owned by Benj. P. Unruh who will give the Rock and five acres of land surrounding it, to the State of Kansas, for a Memorial Park, if the Kansas women will place thereon improvements to the amount of $3,000. The women intend to make the improvements. Old Settler's Picnic at Hodgedens(sic) Grove. July 31. 1908.
