Three children sit on the steps and one person leans on the porch railing. Signage is erected in front of the building. There is typed print on the back of the card.

Waconda Sanitarium and Great Spirit Springs, Mitchell County, Kansas, on Highway #24. This Spring is 54 feet in diameter and situated on top of a mound. First record by General Pike in 1814; an Indian Shrine for centuries, famous for health producing waters. Sanitarium was founded in 1906.
