Brown County Hiawatha Kans. Everest Kans. c/o H. Merkel. I wrote this on the floor so excuse everything. Dear School Marm, Have you began your duties yet. Mine commenced today. I’ve spent the evening making out a program and roasting at the same time Oh my. I went to the fair last week. May be you can find me on the other side. I forgot to tell you I’m O.K. now and fatter than ever. Write soon M. J. H. Miss Mabel Sprague Rose Hill, Iowa.
