This black and white photographic postcard features the Whiteford family archeological dig outside of Salina, Kansas. A skeleton labeled "Chief Joe" lies in the middle of the site with a piece of paper placed on the skull. There are more remains above and below. Printed text is at the middle and bottom of the card.
