Description

This black and white photographic postcard features one of the float vehicles in the National Husking Contest Parade in Norton, Kansas. The float is on a trailer and has fresh produce on a table in front of it. The float is a sculpture of a large ear of corn wrapped in paper to show the corn details. The banner above states "Logan Kansas 'The Peace of the Solomon Valley'". The banner on the front of the float states, "Phillips County Banner Corn County in Kansas 1929-1930". People are walking past the float and standing in front of the produce table. The truck cab is to the right of the float and a man and child sit on the back of the truck. There is writing at the bottom of the card.
