Description
This black and white photographic postcard features an attraction in Lucas, Kansas. The "Garden of Eden" consists of Samuel Dinsmoor's house in the middle and sculptures and trees surrounding it. There is a conical structure to the left. Six people are standing in front of the property. A handwritten "X" in ink is on the right side revealing the entrance. There is written text at the bottom of the card. There is handwriting on the back of the card.

Garden of Eden January 1 1918 This house in back ground is built on order on a log cabin but rocks 16 feet long are used instead of logs they are lifted at corners so they like logs cut out to fit. X is front grate facing west Adam & Eve are holding hands in cement frame and letters. S.P. Dinsmoors is over 76 years and made all these cement things himself and didn’t begin till after the age of 50 yrs. He built his house alone inside and out.
