Description

This black and white photographic postcard features indigenous people setting up for a group photo. The first two rows of people are sitting. The back row is over a dozen men shoulder to shoulder. Several men wear war bonnets. One person in the foreground is holding up a feather and facing the group. Written text is at the top of the card. Part of the "Perils of the Plains" set which are actual photos of a staged 1905 event for the NEA (National Editorial Association). The event took place on the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch near Bliss, Oklahoma.
