Description

This black and white photograph features an excavation site. Two men stand on either side of an uncovered fossil. George F. Sternberg stands with his hands on his hips and wears a hat. Bill Eastman also has hands on his hips and has a camera hanging around his neck. A shovel is leaning against rock debris from the dig site. A large metal container is seen on the left of the photo, with two smaller metal containers next to it, along with other supplies. Shrubs of grass can be seen in the background of the image.
