Portheus Molossus (Fish), Horizon: Niobrara Cretaceous chalk of Kansas. Locality: Two Miles northeast of the Pyramid Rocks, Gove County, Kansas. Collected and Prepared by: George F. Sternberg. Description(sic): A badly crushed skull with lower jaws in place, of a medium sized individual. Remarks: We seldom find a skull of this large fish which is strong enough to be mounted on a vestal(sic), as this one has been. Personal Property of: G. F. Sternberg
