Description
This black and white photograph features a group of men sitting by human bones. A car is in the background with various tools sitting next to it and a shovel leaning against it. Six men sit at the edge dig site. The human fossil sits in the center of pit with plaster strips covering the skeleton. Five of the men look at the fossil while one looks directly at the camera and smiles. George F. Sternberg is on the far right.
