Description
This black and white photograph features Dr. Wooster's Geology class lined up to view the Portheus and Gillicus fossil. It is also known as the "fish within a fish". The specimen is embedded in plaster and in a wooden frame. The frame is flat on a table and Lyman Wooster is pointing out parts of the fossil. Curator George Sternberg is standing third from the left. Handwritten text is on the left of the negative.
