Description
This black and white photograph features the Edson Quarry in Western Kansas in 1942. George Sternberg wrote on the picture indicating where a rhino skull and a camel skeleton had been found. In the left center, George Pearce is standing on a ledge with a shovel. There are grasses in the foreground and the background. A sandy path is in the center.
