Description
This black and white photograph features George Sternberg working on applying plaster to a fossil. A bucket is sitting on the ground to the left. The fossil is in a hole in the center surrounded by rock piles. A pick axe rests on a canvas bag to the left of the fossil. A pail sits on the ground to the left of the truck. Rags are in the back of the truck, and one piece hangs from the car. A rocky hillside is in the background. The truck's license plate reads "T38-267 41 Kansas 1/2 ton." A white border surrounds the photograph.
