Description
This black and white photograph features a campsite south of Safford, Arizona. Two men are standing next to a parked truck. A large bag or tarp is on the ground between them. The man on the right is George Sternberg. Two tents are set up to the left of the truck. A shovel is on the ground between the second tent and the automobile. Two chairs are in the second tent. A cot is set up inside the first tent. Shrubs and other vegetation are scattered on the rocky ground in the foreground and behind the tents and the truck. A mountain is in the background. Handwriting is at the bottom of the photo.
