Description
A black and white photo of nine men working in a quarry in Clark County, Kansas. The land the quarry was in belonged to Jack Swayze northwest of Ashland, close to the Oklahoma border. The men are spread out and walking across the top part of an chalky area on a hillside. There are some branches on the top right side of the chalky area, along with various tools. Shrubs and trees are in the foreground.
