Description

This item features the black and white photo of a skeleton of a Portheus Molossus in the ground. This was found near Butte Creek in Logan County about 18 miles southwest of Russell Springs in 1932. Two men are sitting and leaning against a rocky wall to the left of the skeleton. The leg of another person can be seen in the lower left corner. The head of the skeleton is in the lower center. There is a white mark (unreadable) in the lower right corner. Note: Due to the fact that this picture is on the same album page as the Portheus Molossus, it is assumed that it is the area where it was found.
