A black and white photo of a display of fossil eggs. Top left: Fossil Bird Egg A petrified egg of a supposed anatine (duck-like) bird of Oligocene age.. It was collected some 20 miles northwest of Crawford Nebraska. ; Bottom left: Fossil Turtle Eggs These two specimens were found close together some 12 miles north of Crawford, Nebraska, in rocks of Oligocene age. ; Top right and bottom right: (George has noted with arrows the descriptions underneath each match the other one). Top right: Fossil bird egg. Supposed to be that of an aquatic duck like bird. ; Bottom right: Turtle egg found in the White River Badlands.
