It was collected some 20 miles northwest of Crawford Nebraska. ; Bottom left: Fossil Turtle Eggs These two specimens were found close together some 12 miles north of Crawford, Nebraska, in rocks of Oligocene age. ; Top right and bottom right: (George has noted with arrows the descriptions underneath each match the other one). Considering their age they are in a wonderful state of preservation. Fossil eggs are by no means common Personal property of George F. Sternberg ; Fossil bird egg.
