Description

This item features the black and white photo of a view of the quarry on the Jack Swayze Ranch in Clark County, Kansas. A man is seen in the right side of the quarry; he is standing in front of a rock wall and is bent over at the waist. A shovel is to the right of the man, and a pail is behind him. The middle of the rock shows where the storage shed was dug out and a door installed. Further to the left are other holes that were dug out. Shrubs are in on the downhill side of the bluff in the foreground and trees are at the front part of the bluff. Grasses are on top of the bluffs.
