This item features the black and white photo of C. W. Gilmore working at an excavation site at the bottom of some small bluffs. Piles of large and small rocks surround Mr. Gilmore. He is standing and bending over at the waist. He is looking at an item he is holding in his right hand. His left hand is holding a tool. A large piece of square wood is leaning against a pile of rocks in front of Mr. Gilmore. A can, rope and a tarp are in the foreground. Grasses cover the tops of the bluffs.
