Description
This item features the black and white photo of a man working on applying plaster to a large fossil bone. This was at the quarry on land owned by Jack Swayze in Clark County, Kansas. George Sternberg is kneeling in front of the fossil and is turned to his left getting something out of the metal pail. There is another bucket on his right, and several small tools on small ledge above him. There are two other men standing to his right watching him work. Clarence Rarick is standing closest to the bucket. Another person's leg is also seen in the left of the photo.
