Description

This black and white photograph depicts Chalk Beds in Kansas. This group of rock outcrops are limestone or sedimentary formations and over time erosion occurs forming a column. George Sternberg stands on the top of the rock structure and George Zeigler sits on the top. Helen Zeigler and Anna Sternberg stand at the base of the column. A black mark is on the upper left side of the photograph.Written text is below the photograph.
