Description

This black and white photograph features an excavation site. Four people huddle in a circle around a skull. Anna Sternberg is on the left and has a pickaxe. She uses it to dig around the skull. Wilda Walker is at the top and is observing. George Sternberg is wearing a backpack and wields a smaller pick. He uses it to dig around the skull. Myrl Walker is on the right and is observing. They all wear field clothes and hats. Written text is below the photograph.
