Description

This black and white photograph features four people at an excavation site. Ethel Sternberg stands on the left and holds her box. She is wearing a dress and hat. Mabel Sternberg stand to the right of Ethel and wears a dress and hat. Charles W. Sternberg is crouched in front of the fossil and is pointing out sections of it. He is wearing field clothes and a hat. An unknown young man stands on the other side of the fossil and is bending forward to view it. An automobile is on the right and an automobile is in the background. Written text is below the photograph.
