Description

This black and white photograph overlooks a ravine and various sizes of outcroppings that stretch out for miles. A man is sitting on the edge of the rigid outcropping on the right side of the picture. A base of a rock outcropping appears on the left side of the picture. The background of the photo is a rounded outcropping with a stratified slope and vertical erosion. The formation of this layered, structured rock with minimal shrub brush is seen at the bottom right corner of the photograph. A creek is captured going between the two tall rock faces. The cliff that the individual is sitting on is closer to the photographer than the other two rock outcroppings on the left side of the photo. The person is sitting on a cliff edge at the center right of the photograph. The foreground rock outcropping is more ridged, compared to the two on the left side, also showing a form of vertical erosion. A diminutive creek runs between outcroppings on the lower left side of the photo. Numbers are written below the photograph.
