Description
This black and white photograph demonstrates how George Sternberg and Calvin Harold Riggs wrap a fossil in plaster after unearthing the specimen. Walker is on the left reaching into the bucket of plaster. Sternberg is squatting to the right of the fossil and is applying strips of plaster covered cloths onto the fossil. Tools and the rock dig site are behind the men. Numbers are written below the photograph.
