Description

This page is taken from the personal collection of George Sternberg. The black-and-white photographs on this page date back to the early twentieth century. On this page, four photographs of various types of marine life are shown from multiple angles. The first of four pictures includes a distant view of a colony of South American sea lions. The second of four photographs shows a mother sea-lion lying on top of a pup. The third photograph depicts a closer look at the colony of sea lions with a central focus on a full family of the Argentinian pinnipeds. Located in the top left corner of picture three, the words COMODORO RIVADAVIA (CHUBUT) (Republic Argentina) is printed in black text. The final of the four pictures is that of a Magellanic Penguin standing between two rocks.
