Description
This black and white photographic postcard features the Corcovado Hill. A railway for railcars runs from the foreground into the background. The steep incline of the mountain is on the right side of the tracks. Bushes and vegetation are on the right side of the tracks. A man in a suit stands on the right side of the vegetation and the left side of the railway. The top of the mountain peak is in the background and has a structure with a platform built on the top. The statue of Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado was added in 1931 and is not erected at the time of this picture. The photograph has a white border. Printed text is at the bottom right corner.
