Description
This black and white photograph depicts four buildings. The largest building on the right is the University of Alberta's Fine Arts building. It is four stories high with brick and rock exterior. The power plant on the left side blows smoke from a chimney stack. A weathervane is perched on the back side of the Arts Building. Electricity lines connected to poles run across the campus. Two buildings behind the Fine Arts building were called the Engineering Labs and were later changed to the North Lab and South Lab. Naked trees sit in the foreground. Beyond the buildings in the middle ground is a patch of open field. Across the open field is a town in the horizon with buildings and houses scattered horizontally beneath clear skies. A handwritten number at the bottom of the photograph.
