Description
This black and white photograph depicts an excavation site in the side of a rocky hill. John Abbott sits in the dig site and is looking at an item on his lap. Charles W. Sternberg stands to the left of him with one foot on a rock. Excavation tools and bottles are on the left side of the site. An uncovered fossil is in the middle with the excavated rock pieces in the foreground. Numbers are written below the photograph.
