Description

This black and white photograph features a group of people residing in tents in the grasslands. A tent is assembled at the left side of the photograph and contains supplies. Two other tents are seen on the right side but do not show the inside. Two dark horses stand between the two tents. Each horse is being tended to by a man. The man on the left is wearing trousers and a brimmed hat. The man on the right is wearing trousers and a flat cap. In front of the second and third tent are a woman wearing a dress and hat and two children. One child is a boy wearing overalls and the other is a girl wearing a dress. On the horizon are outcrops of a badlands area. Numbers are written below the photograph.
