Description
This black and white photograph features the Red Deer River and the camp set up by the Sternberg party. The scow with the tent next to the river bank is in the right center of the photo. Almost directly in front of the scow, in the foreground of the photo, three poles are set up with their tops touching. One man stands behind the poles, while another man sits on a box next to them. At the center of the photo, two white tents are set up amongst the shrubs and grasses on the land. Outcroppings are in the background and trees are along the banks of the river. Handwriting is below the photograph.
