Description
This black and white photograph features the locks at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. A freighter named the O'Shaughnessy and a boat named Keewatin are in the process of going through the canal. The Sternberg party was on the Keewatin. A man is on the Keewatin in the lower center of the photograph and there are several people at the front part of the freighter. Two ships are in the distance and a long bridge is also seen in the background. Handwriting is below the photograph.
