Description

This black and white photograph depicts Charles H. Sternberg and George F. Sternberg leaving in a motorboat to go on a trip down the river. The men are sitting in a long, narrow boat on the river, and there is another boat with supplies being pulled behind. A flag is visible on the back of the first boat. To the left, Levi Sternberg stands on the scow and waves to the other men. The scow has a light-colored tent covering most of it. A line of trees and hills can be seen behind the men on the other side of the river. The water appears still and calm. Handwriting is below the photograph.
