Description
This black and white photograph features an area of the Belly River formation where cross bedding can be seen. The change of the cross bedding from sand to clay is visible as stratification on the side of the outcropping. Patches of grass and weeds are present within the excavated area in front of the cross bedding. One large portion of the outcropping can be seen jutting out into the middle of the photo. Handwriting is below the photograph.
